Kenya: Water Crisis in Bungoma, Webuye Following Energy Disconnection Over Sh14m Invoice

Bungoma and Webuye cities were hit by an acute water shortage after Kenya Energy Firm disconnected vitality supply to Nzoia Water and Sewerage Firm (Nzowasco) over gathered debt running into millions of shillings.

Nzowasco Managing Director, Mathew Maruti, stated their vitality supply became disconnected at Matisi and Nabuyole therapy vegetation more than a week within the past leading to the water shortage.
