Khartoum — Commander Mustafa Tambour of the mainstream Sudan Liberation Movement faction led by Abdelwahid El Nur (SLM-AW) arrived in Khartoum on Saturday to meet Suleiman El Debello, chairman of the Sudanese Peace Council.
The meeting used to be brokered by the South Sudanese mediator Tut Galuak. Tambour flew to Khartoum from Juba.
In an announcement upon arrival in Khartoum, Tambour lauded “the martyrs of the handsome December revolution” for striking off the outdated regime and contributing to the peace route of.
He identified that SLM-AW has negotiated in Juba for the past 60 days. Tambour said that “the reasons for the continuation of battle have confidence now ended perpetually”, and careworn that SLM-AW used to be ready to “produce the unusual Sudan to give up trend with the peace companions”.
