The Division of Correctional Products and services says it has been left “embarrassed and gutted” by a video of an officer and an inmate having intercourse.
In a press launch on Tuesday, the division mentioned it had identified the girl correctional officer within the video and had begun a disciplinary course of.
The officer and the inmate are from the Ncome Correctional Centre, KwaZulu-Natal.
“Sexual actions between inmates and correctional officials are outrageous incidents that can by no plan be ascribed to what’s anticipated of our officials.
