Some Nigerian Air Power (NAF) Sector 271 personnel and rankings of bandits died on Saturday in Kaduna.
The battle took place at Ungwan Laya advance Birnin Gwari Native Authorities Home.
In a statement, NAF Director of Data, Air Vice Marshal Ibikunle Daramola, talked about troops had been in a situation to foil an ambush.

The areas had been Gajere, Sabon-Kuyello, Ungwan Farinbatu, Sabuwa, Kutemeshi, Dogon-Mu’azu, Dogon-Dawa, Kidandan, Sabon-Birni, Galadimawa, Rikau, Yadi, Kuduru, Nacibi, Farin-Ruwa and adjoining settlements.
Commissioner for Interior Security, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement talked about bandits detected with herds of cattle at Galadimawa South had been eradicated.
“Equally, bandits had been sighted at Nacibi fleeing southwards on bikes; they had been engaged accordingly and neutralized.
“A community of huts observed to be active with bandits became engaged with rockets”, the unswerving added.
