30 December 2020 — A hundred and twenty-two (122) recent COVID-19 cases were identified out of 3409 samples examined as of late. The recent cases are in Kigali (69), Gakenke (18), Rusizi (7), Rubavu (7), Huye (5), Nyamasheke (4), Nyamagabe (3), Muhanga (2), Karongi (2), Kamonyi (1), Gatsibo (1), Nyabihu (1), and Nyagatare (1); heightened vigilance is required in all places.
The COVID-19 prevention measures presented by the Govt of Rwanda must proceed to be fastidiously observed, especially frequent hand-washing and bodily distancing. As well, face masks must be old in public and multi-family compounds.
Withholding files linked to contact tracing or COVID-19 indicators, jeopardises public safety and is more seemingly to be punished in response to appropriate licensed guidelines.
