The Governing Council of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic in Saki (TOPS), Oyo Utter, has suspended the rector of the establishment, Kayode Ogunmola, and a few other major officers over alleged maladministration.
The attain comes following a series of petitions by the Oke-Ogun Poly Chapter of Academic Crew Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) alleging Mr Ogunmola and other major officers of maladministration and uncomfortable welfare of workers members.
PREMIUM TIMES gathered from sources within the establishment that the governing council has appointed a novel performing rector, performing registrar and a novel performing bursar.
The spokesperson of the establishment, Samson Adebayo, confirmed the yarn to our correspondent in a cell phone interview on Thursday.
Mr Adebayo confirmed that the newly appointed major officers are to resume on January 2, 2021.

The newly appointed rector has B.Sc. and M.Sc.in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Ilorin.
He was Dean of College of Engineering sooner than getting his most new appointment as performing rector.
